The public is welcome to come and meet characters from Kenosha's past - in the form of re-enactors in period clothing who will tell the stories in first-person.  This year's theme is "Park City and Her Namesakes" and will feature five individuals who have City parks named for them.
$5 admission for adults; children under 12 are free with adult. Pre-registration is recommended by calling the cemetery office at 262-652-1631 during office hours, 9:30-3:30.  Tours leave every 15 minutes from the Green Ridge Cemetery entrance, 6604 7th Avenue.  Parking is available along 7th Avenue and 66th Street. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
The Kenosha Cemetery Association is the custodian of historic Green Ridge Cemetery, established in 1838 and is still an active cemetery today.
