To date, over 170 years after the first burial in Green Ridge, there have been more than 20,000 burials and there is room for several thousand additional burials and columbarium niches.

Green Ridge Cemetery is a not for profit 501(c)(13) cemetery.

Orson Welles 100th Anniversary Memorial Walk May 30 & 31

The final event for the Citizen Welles Society of Kenosha is the Welles Memorial Walk, to be held Saturday & Sunday, May 30 & 31, 1:00-4:00 pm
Admission is $5 adults; children under 12 free with adult.  Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.  Enter at the 7th Avenue gate.
Three generations of Orson Welles' ancestors are buried at Green Ridge Cemetery.  The Memorial Walk will feature Welles' parents, Richard and Beatrice Ives Welles, his grandmother, Mary Blanche Head Wells Gottfredsen, his grand-aunt Harriet Head Yule, and his great-grandfather, Orson Sherman Head.
